Part of our 2020 business plan was to expand into the construction industry. We knew that the only way to learn, grow, and succeed was to partner with a knowledgeable and well-established company strategically. So, in February 2020, we entered our first joint venture agreement with Herman Construction Group, Inc.
Herman Construction is a talented team of construction experts who successfully build complex and critical projects, from bringing companies to zero-energy impact goals in a sustainable project to renovating a building during ongoing operations. Herman’s reputation for reliability and versatility and our performance ratings have earned the company Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts with the General Services Administration, the Department of Navy, The Department of the Army, and the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of the Airforce. In addition, our JV routinely performs work for state agencies, hospitals, universities, and other private organizations.
We formed Shore Herman JV to bid on a HUBZone set aside for a NAVFACSW MAIDIQ facilities construction contract vehicle and worked incredibly hard to provide qualifying proposal submission for both Phases I and II. As a result, shore Herman JV has been deemed a qualified contractor and received the contract award N62473-21-D-1026 in June 2021.
Shore Solutions, Inc. had an opportunity to diversify its product and services, expand into the IT service sector, and form a joint venture agreement with T3W Business Solution, Inc. in July 2020 called Shore T3W Solutions JV LLC, specializing in program management, infrastructure planning, engineering, data management, GIS & custom software, program operational readiness, and financial services.
Shore T3W Solutions JV LLC came into fruition with the purpose of bidding on the 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resource for Services (STARS) III Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) – a/k/a “STARS III,” is a Multiple Award, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (MA-IDIQ) contract to provide information technology (IT) services and IT services-based solutions. The Shore T3W Solutions JV team worked diligently on putting together a competitive proposal package and submitted it in August 2020. The Master Contract ordering period is one five-year base period with one three-year option period.
In May 2021, we received the great news that our 8(a) STARS III proposal was deemed in the competitive range, and GSA (General Services Administration) requested an extension of our proposal pricing through December 31, 2021 and remains under evaluation by GSA.
